Join the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Strategic Event Marketing and Sponsorships team as an Events Management Analyst. In this role, you will support the full event lifecycle for global employee and client events, including registration, logistics, website content, attendee management, and on-site execution. You will collaborate with event planners, web designers, and senior leaders to deliver seamless, high-impact experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support Event Associates and Managers with all aspects of meeting planning to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Manage the registration process, including invitations, attendee communications, and responses to travel or registration inquiries.
  • Test the functionality of Global Events Management, Stova, and BuyTheSell systems to ensure reliable event technology performance.
  • Manage hotel rooming lists, including reservation changes and additions, while maintaining accurate attendee information.
  • Ensure the accuracy of web registration data through reporting, editing, and tracking updates in the registration system.
  • Assist with venue research, data compilation, name badge and tent card production, packing travel-office boxes, and sourcing promotional products.
  • Collaborate with planners and web designers to create website content and manage attendee communications.
  • Provide on-site planner support at events, with up to 30% travel required.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through strong oral and written communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Apply organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage event budgets, approvals, and final accounting while maintaining accuracy throughout the planning process.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to support event operations, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Knowledge of the meeting planning industry or prior registration management experience.
  • Familiarity with basic virtual event platforms and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in event planning and execution.
  • Willingness to travel to events and provide on-site planner support, with approximately 30% travel required.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Advanced Excel and Word skills, including pivot tables and mail merge; familiarity with PowerPoint and Access is a plus.
