As an Associate Banker within Chase, you will represent our brand and culture with the utmost hospitality, utilizing the latest banking solutions and cutting-edge financial technology combined with friendly and attentive service. Your role will significantly contribute to the branch's success by delivering exceptional client experiences. You will build trusted relationships with clients, sharing product knowledge and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment by delivering attentive and friendly service: greeting clients upon entry, using a tablet to manage lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue, and scheduling/canceling client meetings.
- Exceed client expectations by providing account servicing and maintenance, as well as opening new accounts, while strictly complying with all policies, procedures, and banking regulations.
- Educate and assist clients with day-to-day banking transactions, including the use of self-service technology such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
- Build meaningful client relationships by actively listening, asking thoughtful questions, demonstrating empathy, and sharing product knowledge and solutions, partnering with other branch team members to help achieve financial goals.
- Perform branch operations, which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault or ATM, adhering to all established bank policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Ability to put clients first and exceed expectations by delivering attentive and friendly service and creating a welcoming environment.
- Ability to build trusted relationships by demonstrating genuine care and concern during client interactions.
- Ability to engage clients by communicating clearly and politely to understand and help, while anticipating client needs.
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail, providing a consistent client experience.
- Ability to elevate the client experience by working collaboratively as a team to deliver seamless service with care and sincerity.
- Ability to quickly and accurately learn new products, services, and procedures.
- Client service experience or comparable experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Strong desire and ability to influence, educate, and connect customers with technology solutions.
- Cash handling experience.
