2027 Human Resources Analyst Summer Internship Programme London

Purpose of the Role

To support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources division by providing insights and expertise that help more senior colleagues make informed decisions. Also to support the development of new products and services and identify new market opportunities.

Accountabilities

• Execute small research projects to support strategic decision-making; prepare presentations and reports to communicate research findings; collaborate with relevant leaders to implement research findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and support the deployment and launch of new products and services for Human Resources.
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support to clients and customers, including answering questions about products and services, processing transactions, and resolving customer complaints.
• Support the development and implementation of financial models and strategies that inform Human Resources decision-making.
• Develop HR insights, colleague journeys for the function’s areas of responsibility, and HR services and measures while building an understanding of Barclays and its businesses.

Eligibility and Additional Information

• To be considered, you must be in your penultimate year of university and graduating in 2028.
• The location for this role is indicated in the job title, and you will be based at that location. If you receive a return offer to the graduate programme, your location will be the same as it was during your internship.
• Barclays is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this internship because the role does not currently meet the UK Home Office eligibility requirements for Skilled Worker sponsorship.
• To be eligible, you must have the legal right to work in the UK on a full-time basis for the entire internship programme (June 2027 to August 2027) without requiring sponsorship from Barclays.
• During the summer internship, you will be considered for a place on the 2028 graduate programme. Since the graduate programme also does not meet UK Home Office Skilled Worker sponsorship eligibility requirements, you must also be able to demonstrate the legal right to work in the UK for the full duration of the graduate programme (August 2028 to August 2030).
