Purpose of the Role

To participate in the day-to-day operations of the technology function, working across a range of technology capabilities for customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

• Participate in the design and innovation of products using the newest technologies.
• Collaborate with the business to understand needs, convey them to the broader development team, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

Eligibility

• To be considered for this opportunity, you must be in your penultimate year of university and graduating in 2028.
• You must have a genuine interest in technology, strong problem-solving skills, and the drive to deliver innovative solutions.

Location

The location for this role is indicated in the job title, and you will be based at that location. If you are successful in receiving a return offer to the graduate programme, your location will be the same as it was during your internship.

Visa Sponsorship and Right to Work

• Barclays accepts applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship to work in the UK, and will provide a skilled worker visa for successful applicants if they meet the Home Office’s eligibility criteria.
• Successful applicants who are not eligible to receive a skilled worker visa and therefore cannot be sponsored will be required to have their own legal right to work in the UK on a full-time basis from June 2027 to August 2027.
