Program Overview

The Evercore Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program designed to provide highly motivated undergraduates with a representative experience in Global Technology, specifically Data Analytics, Application Development, or Cybersecurity.

The program is for intelligent, mature individuals who are eager to work in a fast-paced environment and develop new skills through hands-on experience. Summer Analysts are expected to work on several projects concurrently and demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and delivering high-quality work. The role includes training, mentorship, and project work, often in areas such as software engineering, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, or data analytics, using modern tools to support global operations.

Role Overview

In this role, you will help design, develop, and implement technology-based solutions that streamline how deal teams evaluate opportunities, assess markets, and act on insights—enhancing both firmwide strategy and group-level execution.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of banking, technology, and applied analytics—ideal for someone who enjoys using code and quantitative methods to solve complex problems and build tools that support high-impact decisions. Working in small, focused teams, you will take ownership of impactful workstreams while collaborating with peers and receiving guidance from senior stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis
• Support application and software development and integration efforts
• Assist with testing, documentation, and validation of applications
• Help with permission standardization

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong technical fundamentals and a desire to learn and grow. Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate degree with an expected graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029. We welcome applicants from all majors.

• A strong academic record complemented by broad and diverse interests
• Quantitative and analytical strengths paired with clear and effective communication skills
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
• Intellectual curiosity, including an interest in core machine learning and AI concepts and their application to real-world financial data
• Interest in financial services and motivation to apply technical skills to practical business challenges
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects with guidance
• Familiarity with SQL, Excel, Python, VS Code, GitHub, or LLMs (helpful but not required)
• Exposure to or interest in Technology, Finance, or Banking (a plus but not required)
