12-Month Internship - IT PMO Junior Analyst
Job Summary
The IT PMO position is within the UK IT CIO Office team. The team supports the GIT & RMC Department with the budget process and administration. The role involves supporting staff planning, budgeting, forecasting, and budget system support, as well as contributing to the planning process by identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives. The successful candidate will support the running of monthly IT finance processes and the annual and monthly budget/forecast activities within the department.
The role requires close collaboration with managers and PMOs across London and Paris, as well as with the central financial control function in the UK. Reporting to the Head of CIO Office UK, the role includes the responsibilities below.
Key Responsibilities
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare, produce, collate, and perform sanity checks on IT Steering Committee and key management reports (financial and non-financial).
- Facilitate GIT & RMC committees by producing meeting minutes and action trackers for key governance forums.
- Monitor, chase up, and validate completion of outstanding actions across business lines.
- Coordinate with PMOs on financial and project reporting.
- Produce KPIs and provide detailed reports to internal stakeholders.
- Review and update IT governance documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with current standards.
Resources Management
- Investigate time tracking, flag variances, and provide insights to managers on preventive/corrective actions.
Optimisation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline, automate, and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage the impact of change and support delivery of desired business outcomes.
- Prepare procedure and process documentation.
- Use data analysis techniques to enhance risk assessment and improve the accuracy of budget reporting.
Communication
- Act as a community manager by managing the collaborative platform for documentation repositories and shared information (SharePoint).
- Facilitate cross-functional communication within IT teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements, including (but not limited to) the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to be fully qualified to undertake the role.
- Complete all mandatory trainings required to attain and maintain competence.

Education
High school / Secondary school / A levels / AS levels / IB academic qualification / Speciality Higher Education (Degree or equivalent) in Project or Business Studies.
