Audit Placement - London - September 2027

Audit – 12-Month Paid Placement (Sandwich Degree)

Make an impact at RSM UK by joining our audit team on a 12-month paid placement as part of your sandwich degree. You’ll gain practical experience working alongside current trainees and experienced audit professionals, while taking part in real client work with on-the-job training and access to internal training courses throughout the year.

If you perform well, there may be an opportunity to join one of our graduate training programmes after you finish your degree.

Key Responsibilities

• Become a key member of the team from day one, getting involved in client work quickly—initially as part of a larger team, then taking on individual responsibility for projects.
• Conduct thorough, risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls, supporting the accuracy of financial statements and building trust among stakeholders.
• Work with a wide variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses, large listed groups, charities, pension schemes, and other not-for-profit organisations.
• Help shape your future at RSM by gaining valuable audit experience as you progress your career.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you will need:

• A minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification), or 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Be enrolled on a placement degree.
• Have an existing, permanent right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely to team members and clients.
• The ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships and stay calm under pressure.
• A genuine interest in business and commerce, along with strong organisational and time management skills.
• A willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.

Additional Notes

• RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels, or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
• Your start date will be 14 September 2027. Start dates are mandatory.
