Markets Summer Analyst Internship (London)
Are you ready to bring your knowledge from the classroom to the trading floor? Citi helps you bring your skills and build your network through programs designed to equip you with the knowledge and training to play a valuable role on your team and establish a long-term career at Citi. We value internal mobility and career growth.
Citi is looking for intern analysts to join our Markets team in London. Markets provides world-class solutions to corporates, institutions, governments, and individual investors across 160 countries and territories. We work on trading floors in over 80 countries and our capabilities span underwriting, structuring, securitisation, sales and trading, and distribution across asset classes and currencies. Our expertise includes equities, commodities, credit, futures, and foreign exchange (FX).
Your Time Here Will Look Something Like This
The program is highly competitive and selective. You will actively participate in the trading and marketing of securities to our institutional client base. As a summer analyst, you will complete three rotations across both product and function to gain a well-rounded experience. You will join a training program that includes an in-depth education on the fundamentals of the analyst role and an introduction to Citi’s culture.
The 10-week summer analyst program starts in June and begins with a one-week training program in London. You will then complete three rotations with different desks. After submitting an application, you will select which area of Markets you are most interested in: Sales, Trading, Structuring, Quantitative Analysis, or Securitisation and Financing. This information helps align you to the most appropriate recruitment process. If successful, your rotations will be decided by desk availability and your stated preference, and you will be encouraged to experience desks across Markets. Successful summer analysts will be considered for a full-time position after graduation.
