Profile Summary

Augusta & Co, part of the Mizuho Group, is a leading specialist financial advisory firm focused on the renewable energy and energy transition sectors. We advise developers, utilities, infrastructure funds, and investors on M&A, capital raising, and strategic transactions across Europe. We are seeking a motivated Analyst to support transaction execution and business development activities through financial modelling, valuation analysis, market research, and the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth company and sector analysis and financial modelling for both pitches and live mandates, and translate analysis into concise client recommendations.
  • Draft deal marketing documents, internal investment presentations, and other client documentation as required.
  • Assist with the coordination of due diligence activities; be hands-on across the execution process, including coordinating workstreams with other advisers.
  • Support firm-wide marketing activities, including drafting pitches and building and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Education: top results from a leading university.
  • Sector interest: a strong interest in investment banking and a solid understanding of the renewable energy sector.
  • Relevant professional experience: previous experience in relevant sectors (investment banking, consulting, renewable energy firms, or other transaction services); other suitable experience is welcomed.
  • Analyst (1–3 years): relevant internship or full-time experience in investment banking, consulting, or the energy sector.
  • Motivated: ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment.
  • Maturity: ability to engage with senior industry counterparts.
  • Enterprising: high level of initiative.
  • Skills: excellent analytical skills with demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Languages: fluency in English and ideally another European language.
