The Team
The Global Payment Solutions (GPS) business is dedicated to turning technological advances into treasury solutions for corporate clients globally—across all segments and industries. We use cutting-edge products and forward-thinking strategies to provide liquidity management, payment and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, FX, and commercial card services with a personalised touch.
Programme Overview
Our 10-week summer analyst programme emphasises on-the-job training. You will rotate between two GPS groups (sales and product) to learn how we use the power of people and technology to transform treasury solutions for clients.
Training and Development
Your training and development is a top priority, including extensive formal training at the start of the programme, on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout.
Responsibilities
As a summer analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Work with different product sets including cash management, liquidity, payments, foreign exchange, commercial card, trade, and supply chain finance.
- Understand the end-to-end business, from product development through to selling the solution to clients.
- Ensure an effective handover process to the Bank’s implementation team when new business is won, maintaining contact through the process to ensure client needs are met.
- Attend client/prospective client visits to grow and win new business.
- Participate in creating bespoke treasury solutions for clients.
- Prepare and eventually deliver proposals and presentations.
Eligibility
- Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a completion timeframe between September 2027 and July 2028.
- Completion means you have completed all final exams and coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation.
- On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
- Must be available to join the programme from June 2027 to August 2027.
Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full-time employment to commence in July 2028. Some lines of business may also offer the opportunity of a January or April start date. If offered, you must be available to join on one of these start dates, and deferrals are not available.

- Evidence of strong teamwork, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English (pre-requisite).
- Demonstrate integrity and ethics by earning others’ trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions.
