The Team
The TMT team covers critical and high-growth sectors facilitating digital transformation and acceleration across AI, software, internet, media, telecom, and digital infrastructure throughout all products the bank has to offer.
Programme Overview
Our Off-cycle Analyst programme is designed to offer a broad and exciting experience of work within Investment Banking.
Training and Development
Your training and development is a top priority, including extensive formal training at the start of the programme, plus on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout.
Responsibilities
As an Off-cycle Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Support the execution of a broad range of transactions across M&A, private and public capital raises (including IPOs), and leveraged finance assignments.
- Help deliver solutions to clients by leveraging the full spectrum of the bank’s capabilities.
- Conduct financial analysis, including valuation, benchmarking, and financial modelling, to support transaction execution and client deliverables.
- Contribute to the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials, and underlying financial analysis.
- Conduct comprehensive company, industry, and market research to support strategic and transaction-related work.
- Communicate and interact with deal team members, including those in international regions.
- Participate in executing transactions, including work with clients as well as representatives of other investment banks and other advisors.
Eligibility
- Candidates must have already received or be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- If you have already graduated, the graduation date must be after January 2026.
- If you are still pursuing a degree, completion must be before July 2027. Completion means you have completed all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation.
- Please note: the bank may request evidence of the completion date before extending an offer.
- On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
Availability: Candidates must be available to join the programme from Monday 11 January for four months, with an option to extend by two months. If candidates receive a full-time offer, they must be available to join the graduate programme from July 2027. Deferred start dates are not available.
