The Team

The EMEA Consumer & Retail team covers a range of well-known clients on both strategic and financial matters across:

  • Consumer (e.g., Beverage, Food, Home & Personal Care, Tobacco, etc.)
  • Retail (e.g., Apparel & Luxury, Food Retail, Specialty Retail, Foodservice & Restaurants, etc.)

The team also supports disruptive companies across digital commerce and fast-growing food and beverage brands and technologies.

With leading positions globally and in EMEA, the team provides exposure to interesting companies and live transaction execution. As an Associate in the team, you will participate in the full cycle of coverage and transaction execution, including idea generation, and cover all traditional Investment Banking products (M&A, Debt, Equity).

Globally, the team collaborates with 90+ Consumer & Retail professionals across New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney, and Sao Paulo. The team is close-knit and culture-driven, with a strong focus on junior banker development and long-term career growth, including early client exposure and a diverse range of perspectives.

Programme Overview

Our Off-cycle Analyst programme is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience of work within Investment Banking.

Training and Development

Training and development is a top priority. You will receive extensive formal training at the start of the programme, along with on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout.

Responsibilities

As an Off-cycle Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Work on projects alongside bankers in specific industry, product, and country coverage groups, providing a unique learning opportunity
  • Help the team deliver solutions to clients by leveraging the full spectrum of the bank’s capabilities
  • Assist in preparing client presentations and underlying financial analysis
  • Build relationships, knowledge, and experience that can open doors to a wide range of future careers
  • Actively participate in executing transactions, including work with clients and representatives of other investment banks and other advisors

Eligibility

  • Candidates must have already received or be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • If already graduated: the graduation date must be after January 2026.
  • If still pursuing a degree: completion time frame must be before July 2027. Completion means you have completed all final exams and coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation.
  • Please note that the company reserves the right to request evidence of the completion date before extending an offer.
  • On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).

Availability

  • Available to join the programme from Monday 11 January for four months, with an option to extend by two months.
  • If you receive a full-time offer, you must be available to join the graduate programme from July 2027.
  • Deferred start dates are not available.
