Internship Overview

Department: Asian Investment Banking Division, ECA, Commodities & Trade Finance Department, Commodity Trade Finance

Program Title: Commodity Trade Finance Intern

Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis as part of the credit application proposal.
• Partner with front office Relationship Managers to gain a better understanding of banking products and structured financing.
• Prepare a research paper on a commodity-related industry to complement the credit application proposal.
• Provide marketing support to Relationship Managers for transactions.
• Support ad-hoc team projects (including client onboarding and KYC-related support).

Job Requirements

• Background in accounting, finance, and/or business administration.
• Fundamental understanding of accounting and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is necessary.
• Well-versed in business writing.

Location & Eligibility

This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only. In Singapore, MUFG internship partners include National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
