Internship Details
Program: Cash Management and Channel Products Intern
Team: Transaction Banking Office for Asia (TBOA) – Product Department, Cash Management & Channels Team (PD – CMCT)
Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027
Location: Singapore
Eligibility: Open to Singaporean and PR students only.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in driving product development initiatives and supporting delivery of relevant banking services (Cash Management Services – Payments & Collections and/or Channels products) with senior colleagues for the ASEAN region.
- Collaborate with product partners and regional stakeholders to support delivery of products that fulfill requirements of both customers and internal users, in line with bank guidelines/procedures and local regulations.
- Support the development of departmental initiatives/strategies to improve existing processes, increase revenue opportunities, and deliver high-quality service to customers in the region.
- Assist with data analysis to monitor product performance and commercialization, and identify opportunities to grow the business and improve processes together with other product partners.
- Assist in maintaining product manuals to support a strong departmental framework.
- Support ensuring customer products are implemented and commercialized on time, in coordination with the sales team and regional product partners.
- Assist and lead relevant committees within the region; summarize discussion points and next action plans for forward implementation.
- Create easy-to-understand, well-summarized materials/reports to facilitate project discussions and approval processes for both project members and management.
Job Requirements
- Proactive, dynamic, eager to learn, and able to work as a self-starter.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and languages (English level).
- Highly responsible, able to manage tasks independently and escalate issues when support from senior colleagues is needed.
- Team player who values working in a multicultural environment.
- Logical and analytical thinking to identify potential opportunities to improve the business and address issues, where applicable.
- Open-minded toward technical matters, discussions, and documentation.
- Good proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
