What You’ll Do

• Discover how different parts of UBS operate and identify the risks shaping a global financial institution.
• Investigate how decisions, products, and processes work in practice, uncovering insights others might miss.
• Use data, technology, and critical thinking to assess risks and evaluate whether controls are effective.
• Challenge assumptions to help prevent errors, protect clients, and support the firm’s strategic goals.
• Learn from experienced colleagues and gain a unique view while helping UBS stay resilient, safe, and prepared for what’s next.

Your Team

You will be part of Group Internal Audit, the only function with a complete view across UBS. Reporting independently to the Board, we bring together specialists in business, risk, data analytics, and AI to identify emerging risks, generate insight, and drive change across the firm.

What We’re Looking For

• Graduation between 2025 and September 2027.
• At least a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in your first undergraduate degree, or being on track to achieve it.
• Ability to explain ideas clearly, whether summarising findings, asking good questions, or sharing your thoughts so others understand.
• Ability to adapt easily to changing priorities and remain organised when assigned multiple tasks.
• Integrity, enjoyment working with others, and demonstrated curiosity, commitment, and willingness to learn.
• Evidence of how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.

We welcome applicants studying for a degree in any field, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry and in how risks and controls are being managed. Initial practical experience in audit, risk, compliance, or data analysis is an advantage; however, curiosity and the ability to think analytically are what matter most. We want to see what makes you unique and what you can bring to our team.
