IT PMO Junior Analyst

Job Summary

The IT PMO Junior Analyst role is within the UK IT CIO Office team at Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (Crédit Agricole CIB). The team supports the GIT & RMC Department with the budget process and administration.

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, hands-on individual with a flexible and adaptable approach. The PMO analyst function includes staff planning, budgeting, forecasting, and IT budget system support. The role also supports the planning process by identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives.

This position requires strong management accounting knowledge and the ability to take responsibility for running monthly IT finance processes and the annual and monthly budget/forecast within the department. The role involves close collaboration with managers and PMOs in London and Paris, as well as with the central financial control function in the UK.

Reporting to the Head of CIO Office UK.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Reporting

• Prepare, produce, collate, and perform sanity checks on IT Steering Committee and key management reports (financial and non-financial).
• Facilitate GIT & RMC committees by producing meeting minutes and action trackers for key governance forums.
• Monitor and chase outstanding actions across business lines and validate actions upon completion.
• Coordinate with PMOs regarding financial and project reporting.
• Produce KPIs and provide detailed reports to internal stakeholders.
• Review and update IT governance documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with current standards.

Resources

• Investigate time tracking information, flag variances, and provide insights to managers on preventive and corrective actions.

Optimisation

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline, automate, and improve efficiency.
• Contribute to managing the impact of change by collaborating with stakeholders and supporting delivery of desired business outcomes.
• Prepare procedures and process documentation.
• Use data analysis techniques to improve the accuracy of risk assessment and budget reporting.

Communication

• Act as community manager by managing the collaborative platform of documentation repositories and shared information (SharePoint).
• Facilitate cross-functional communication within IT teams to support timely project delivery.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements, including (but not limited to) the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy.
• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure full qualification to undertake the role.
• Complete all mandatory trainings required to attain and maintain competence.

Candidate Criteria

• Minimal Education Level: High school / secondary school / A levels / AS levels / IB; Higher Education (Degree or equivalent) in Project or Business Studies.
• Experience: Thoroughness, high degree of accuracy, and sensitivity to detail.
• Numeracy & Analytical Problem Solving.
• Ability to work independently within established guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to prioritise work amid continually changing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including tact and diplomacy.
