Risk Management Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist the Risk Management Department in monitoring client margin ratios, credit limits, and collateral positions across securities accounts.
• Support the preparation of daily/weekly risk reports, including margin utilisation, and exception approval tracking.
• Help review and maintain marginable securities lists and internal risk approval-authority documentation in line with SGX and MAS requirements.
• Conduct research and benchmarking on industry risk practices (e.g., margin financing ratios, CPFIS/SRS/CDP mechanics) to support policy development.
• Provide support for ad-hoc risk projects, data analysis, and stress-testing exercises as assigned by the Risk Management team.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with financial products and services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail; able to express thoughts clearly and work well across departments.
• Result-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and collaborate as a team player.
