Responsibilities

As a Real Estate Summer Analyst Intern with Hines, you will:

• Gain hands-on experience by working with an assigned team specializing in specific functions within Commercial Real Estate Investment Management and/or Development.
• Assist with the underwriting and lease analysis of new projects and the asset management of operating properties.
• Provide research support by gathering data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, and new developments, and inputting data into appropriate databases.
• Support possible assignments including new development projects, acquisitions and dispositions, and asset management.
• Work on Hines’s top-quality assets with daily exposure to highly seasoned real estate professionals.
• Contribute to processes and decisions that impact Hines’ world-renowned properties through market research, due diligence, financial analysis, and other responsibilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

• Students from any academic discipline will be considered; however, strong math and quantitative aptitude is required.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Argus experience is a plus, but not required.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects.
• Current second-year and third-year students will be considered, along with final-year students who will be immediately entering a graduate program.
