Hines runs four early-careers programs across its global real estate platform:

• Skyline Scholars: a seven-week introduction to commercial real estate for first- and second-year undergraduates
• REDI Internship (Undergraduate): a 10-week internship for sophomores and juniors, placing interns with development, investment management, ESG, property management, accounting or other teams
• REDI Internship (MBA): a summer associate program for first-year MBAs with two or more years of prior work experience, weighted toward development and investment management
• ElevateE: a two-year graduate rotation through two lines of business and two geographies, spanning development, investment management, venture capital and ESG

The four sit at different entry points, from freshman year through post-MBA, so a candidate matches one program to their stage rather than choosing among them. ElevateE in particular is a two-year commitment rather than a single summer, which is a different order of decision from an internship.

Unlike a pure capital allocator, it is vertically integrated, investing in, developing, and managing real estate with its own teams (independent profile)). Its early-careers tracks reflect that breadth: interns and rotational graduates are placed across development, investment management, global ventures and ESG rather than a single desk, and ElevateE moves graduates through two business lines and two geographies over two years.

For a candidate spending one of a limited number of applications, the draw is exposure to the full real estate value chain and international placement inside one firm, rather than a single discipline or a single region. The counterpart is that, as a private company, Hines discloses far less publicly than a listed manager, so a candidate researches it through its own programs and people rather than market filings.
