About the Role

As an intern in Macquarie Asset Management, you will help provide investment solutions to a broad range of clients. You will support the management of critical infrastructure assets such as electricity networks, renewable energy platforms, data centers, port terminals, and other essential businesses.

You will be placed in one of our Macquarie Asset Management teams based on your skills, experience, and interests matched with business needs. Potential teams include:

Client Solutions Group (CSG)

• Provides clients with a single point of contact across the breadth of the asset management platform.
• Remit includes Institutional and Wealth Distribution, Product, Marketing and Communications.

Real Estate

• A global real estate investment business with a differentiated approach to accessing high-conviction real estate opportunities in sectors backed by global megatrends.
• Invests in and partners with sector specialist operating platforms to focus on long-term value creation.

Solutions

• A global investment business with a track record of delivering superior results for institutional and wealth clients.
• Mission is to use specialist expertise to provide clients with innovative investment solution outcomes.
• Clients benefit from access across investment approaches and vehicle types.

What the Program Offers

As part of this ten-week internship, you will:

• Complete meaningful and challenging work to build practical experience tied to your theoretical knowledge.
• Attend an orientation to learn about Macquarie’s business groups, participate with fellow interns, and receive technical training.
• Receive support and guidance from your manager and aligned mentor.
• Participate in philanthropic and social events to connect with an inclusive culture.
• Present a project you worked on during the program to senior management.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 annually, prorated for the length of the internship. Actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

• Undergraduate student expected to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Strong numerical skills and the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly.
• Comfort collaborating with others and building strong working relationships.
• Interest in financial services, with a proactive, resourceful, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail and experience with Excel.
