Location: Singapore

Criteria: Current students studying in universities based in Singapore

Internship Duration: The internship will begin on either 4 May 2026 or 20 July 2026, and will end on 4 Dec 2026. There is an option to extend the internship, with the extended period concluding on a fixed date of 18 Dec 2026.

  • Hands-on experience and the opportunity to make an immediate contribution to AMD's next generation of technology innovations.
  • Understanding how the Product Data Management (PDM) team processes manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM), enables systems for disruptive technology products, establishes Master Data principles and guidelines, and drives business process improvements through automation.
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration across Business Units, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Logistics, Product Engineering, Procurement, Packaging, Design Team, Test Team, Agile IT, Product Management, Fab Technology Operations, OSATs, and other teams.
  • Contributions across multiple PDM areas with significant deliverables aligned to overall product goals.

Project Overview

Create a model to enhance BOM processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Bill of Material (BOM) records throughout the full product lifecycle for microprocessors and graphics processors.
  • Drive data quality and automation efforts by leveraging RPA and AI technologies.
  • Collaborate with product data owners and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data in PLM systems for complex semiconductor products.
  • Contribute to process-improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality, reducing costs, and improving cycle times.

  • Software & Tools: Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira), Microsoft Suite (Visio, Office, Power BI), PLM/PDM systems (Agile PLM, Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena, Enovia)

Academic Credentials

  • Degree in Computer Science; Business Analytics and Data Science
