Professional, Hong Kong Market Team

As a Professional in the Hong Kong Market Team, you will work closely with Client Advisors to provide support in all facets of the daily business routine while maintaining awareness of, and sensitivity to, the confidential nature of Private Banking clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor client accounts and assist with daily account administration (updating account documentation, managing the client Periodic Review process).
• Help manage the account opening and onboarding process.
• Support Client Advisors with Know-Your-Client documentation and processes, as well as Suitability assessments and reporting.
• Own the full trading life cycle, from pre-trade checks, trade execution, and booking to post-trade checks, including risk disclosures, product marketing obligations, and reporting execution details to clients.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of all asset classes and products offered by the Private Bank.
• Manage documentation (e.g., Alternatives, Suitability, Investment Parameters, OTC, etc.).
• Act as a primary point of contact with external clients for day-to-day account administration, servicing, execution of investment securities and products.
• Partner with the Client Service team and other team members in the daily management of accounts and credit facilities, and other activities relating to overall client relationships.
• Assist advisors in preparation for client meetings and help prepare and deliver analysis of investment performance and other client presentations.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business, or equivalent in any discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of client service and/or relationship manager support experience in Private Banking, with background in brokerage and/or trading.
• Dynamic and independent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of proactively engaging multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority to meet strict timelines, with strong ownership and urgency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
• Ability to work under tight market deadlines with accuracy in executing clients’ directed orders.
• Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, alongside sound judgment from a risk and escalation perspective.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively, with good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Appropriate local regulatory qualification.
