U.S. Private Bank – Investment Professional

As an Investment Professional in the U.S. Private Bank, you will provide daily support to Investors in managing client relationships. You will coordinate with colleagues and essential support groups while maintaining awareness of the confidential nature of Private Banking clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Consult on and execute brokerage trades, including advising clients on trade execution, placing trades, reviewing brokerage trades, comparing the paper blotter to the trade blotter daily, submitting cancel/correct requests and making account updates.
• Create mandates for discretionary accounts.
• Monitor exceptions and work with Client Advisors to conduct what-if, scenario-based analyses.
• Work with the Team Leader to monitor risk metrics across the team.
• Work with the Team Leader to monitor Client Advisor loadings.
• Submit and monitor fee schedules and billing.
• Manage alternative investment documents, including submission, monitoring and working with clients to complete or correct documentation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

• Series 7, Series 66 and insurance licenses required. Unlicensed candidates may be considered but must obtain the required licenses within 90 days of the start date.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least one year of industry-related experience.
• Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

• Familiarity with J.P. Morgan Private Bank systems, including Workstation, Connect and DDR/KYC, or the ability to learn proprietary software.
• Experience with and interest in financial markets and concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
