As a Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch, you will represent our brand and culture with the utmost hospitality, utilizing the latest banking solutions and cutting-edge financial technology combined with friendly and attentive service. You will play a lead role in acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful client relationships, using your financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions that address their financial needs and enhance their lives, thus contributing to the success of the branch.

Job Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations by delivering attentive and friendly service, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients, proactively meeting with them in person and over the phone to build lasting relationships, understand their financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and assist clients, building trust—asking insightful questions and actively listening to anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions, such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to meet their banking needs conveniently.
• Quickly and accurately learn about products, services, and procedures to effectively consult with clients on banking solutions, while collaborating with and connecting them to our team of experts for specialized financial needs.
• Adhere strictly to all policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with a proven track record in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• Ability to create memorable client experiences and elevate the overall client journey.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with a proven ability to tailor the features and benefits of products and services to clients with diverse needs.
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with strong attention to detail, ensuring consistent client experiences.
• Operate within established risk parameters and meet all internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.
• High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, required state registration (including 63 if necessary), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain these licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire; study materials and support will be provided.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• College degree or military equivalent.
• Experience in adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
