Our Manufacturing Operations teams make our products. We work in manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset and strive for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Technician will join a two-year WDA training program. The WDA program aims to support traineeship opportunities in the biopharmaceutical sector. These traineeships help candidates develop professional skills, gain valuable industry experience, and build a stronger foothold in the job market across various sectors.
What You Will Do
Critical responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Support assigned work activities to completion, timely, efficiently, and satisfactorily.
- Support and assist the supervisor to manage projects. Coordinate vendors and contractors for maintenance activities, including equipment installation, servicing, testing, and commissioning.
- Support maintenance inventory management (spare parts of equipment/instruments).
- Support quality system improvement program (QSIP) rollout initiatives such as SOPs, instructions, and PM task lists.
- Support the cGMP supplier qualification process.
- Support contractor and vendor management (qualification, monitoring, and documentation). Supervise and oversee third-party contractors where applicable.
- Support Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) improvement initiatives (e.g., audits, training).
- Participate in brainstorming and simple diagnostic activities for equipment failures to determine root cause, and lead or perform investigations.
What You Must Have
- NTC / ITC / Diploma in Engineering or Science, or its equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of working experience.
- Good working experience in Project Management, or Mechanical or Electrical & Instrumental sectors is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong interest in the biopharmaceutical industry.
