Intern - Fab Support Tool Technician

FS/PSM Internship Program

The FS/PSM internship program aims to provide students with training and resources to learn the industry setup of sub-fab support systems, including safety design and remote monitoring systems, paving the way for a full-time opportunity in fab support and process safety management.

In this internship, the focus includes training on the industry setup of a sub-fab pump exhaust system, its safety design, and remote monitoring systems.

Scope

In this project, the student will be able to:

• Gain hands-on experience to understand industry usage of vacuum pumps, chillers, and point-of-use scrubbers for each type of semiconductor CVD/dry etch/diffusion chamber.
• Learn the setup of post pump exhaust systems and how to handle post-chamber effluent production gases.
• Understand auxiliary systems that support wafer fab processing.
• Explore remote monitoring capabilities on pump and scrubber systems on the SCADA system (RMS systems and ThingWorks).
• Understand tracking interfaces like Tableau tables for daily monitoring by the Operations Shift Team.

Deliverable

Support and maintain IoT monitoring/tracking of system parameters, and manage the monitoring system for safety and quality control.
