Interns may be assigned to projects located at the Micron Singapore sites listed above. Project allocation will be determined based on business needs, technical fit, and project availability.

Project Title
University Internship Program (Project assignments across multiple functions and organisations)
Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects across multiple functions and organisations, with project assignments aligned to business priorities and individual strengths. As multiple projects are available across different functions and organisations, shortlisted candidates will be introduced to relevant project opportunities during the interview process and matched based on technical background, interests, and business requirements.
Where applicable, interns may utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, automation technologies, advanced analytics, or digital manufacturing tools to improve engineering efficiency and decision-making.
Project Description
This internship supports engineering teams across Micron Singapore in improving manufacturing processes, equipment performance, yield, quality, reliability, and operational efficiency. Successful candidates may be assigned to projects within Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Yield Engineering, Process Integration, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering functions.
Objective of the Project
- Improve manufacturing processes and operational performance.
- Support equipment optimisation and reliability initiatives.
- Analyse production data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop engineering solutions to improve yield, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence activities.
Project Scope
- Analyse engineering and manufacturing data to identify opportunities for process, quality, yield, or equipment performance improvements.
- Support engineering investigations, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and manufacturing performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement engineering solutions.
- May leverage AI-enabled tools, automation solutions, or advanced analytics to improve engineering workflows.

Intern contributions will support improvements in manufacturing efficiency, equipment performance, product quality, operational reliability, and business outcomes across Micron's manufacturing operations.
Skillsets Required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Excel, JMP, Minitab, Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar analytical tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, automation tools, or AI-enabled workflows is advantageous.
- Demonstrated interest in engineering, manufacturing, technology, and the semiconductor industry.
Course of Interest
Ideal candidates should be pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Duration of Period
Ideal candidates should be able to commit to a full-time internship period of at least 4 months.
Opportunities for Full Time Employment
High-performing interns may be considered for future internship, return internship, New College Graduate (NCG), or full-time employment opportunities, subject to business requirements and performance.
