Analyst/Associate (Assistant Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking)

Overview of Division/Department

Japanese Corporate Banking No.2 primarily serves the Singapore subsidiaries of major Japanese corporations and has an important mission to support the global expansion of their businesses, including across the APAC region, through banking services. JCB2’s clients span three main industries: (1) Automotive & Technology, (2) Information, Communications Technology & Retail, and (3) Social Infrastructure and Industrial.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the relationship managers with operational coordination required by customers under the Singapore Corporate Banking Japanese Department and across various internal bank functions, including systems management and general account operations.
• Provide client service support, including assisting with onboarding new clients (KYC, account openings), AML matters, and remittance.
• Provide administrative support, including expense reimbursement and submission of applications for client entertainment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure client requests are handled timely and smoothly.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, with exposure to Corporate Banking—especially for large listed corporations and/or commodity/energy/food and agriculture sectors.
• Product knowledge in Corporate Banking products, including Loans, Transaction Banking products, and Treasury FX.
• Product knowledge in securities and asset management is advantageous.
• Strong influencing skills, with credit and marketing skills.
