Overview
The Transaction Execution Group (TEG) provides fixed income deal execution advisory services across all industry groups globally. TEG sits within Fixed Income Capital Markets and works closely with Corporate & Investment Banking, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to oversee the documentation and execution process for Investment Grade and Latin American issuers. This includes pitches, transaction structuring, due diligence investigations, disclosure matters, and settlement. As TEG works primarily on live transactions, the environment is fast-paced with significant client interaction.
Responsibilities
As a TEG Analyst, you will support all aspects of executing fixed income transactions and work closely with coverage bankers, syndicate, external and internal counsel, internal compliance, auditors, and the client to ensure high-quality, seamless deal execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Obtaining internal compliance approvals.
- Coordinating and drafting internal Commitment Committee materials.
- Organizing the due diligence process, including drafting document request lists and due diligence questionnaires.
- Working with external and internal counsel to assist in the preparation, negotiation, and review of all transaction-related documentation.
- Assisting with client-driven Q&A and managing risk for the firm.
- Preparing marketing materials, including roadshow slides, rating agency updates, and internal marketing memorandums.
- Coordinating and assisting on roadshows.
- Coordinating and assisting on all closing procedures, including funds transfer and preparation of closing documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration.
- Series 79 and 63 licenses.
- Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.
Education
Bachelor's degree/university degree or equivalent experience.
