Experienced Associate - Industrials Advisory

The Industrials Advisory group covers a broad range of large-cap corporate clients and financial sponsors in sectors including aerospace, defense, and government services; automotive; building products; capital goods and machinery; diversified industrials; industrial technology and automation.

Position

Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Associate for its Industrials Advisory group in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• M&A buy-side and sell-side engagements
• Portfolio separations and breakups
• Balance sheet restructurings
• Evaluation of strategic alternatives
• Assistance in raising debt or equity financing
• Managing analysts and overseeing financial and valuation analysis
• Resolving complex financial and accounting issues
• Industry and competitive analysis, due diligence, and drafting client materials
• Management and execution of live deal situations
• Assistance with new business development

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1–2 years of Investment Banking experience
• Graduate of a top-tier business school or associate promotion
• Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Ability to think broadly about strategic issues facing clients
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Demonstrated academic excellence and work ethic
• Ability to manage and lead teams and work under high responsibility at early career stages

Compensation

Expected Base Salary Range: $185,000 – $250,000

In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus paid in cash and/or deferred equity.
