Experienced Analyst - Healthcare Advisory (NY)

Overview

Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Analyst for its Healthcare Advisory group in New York, NY. Analysts are highly motivated individuals with a broad range of experience in strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions. They must be able to work on several projects concurrently and demonstrate a strong desire to learn and work hard.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of assignments including acquisition advisory, capital raising, recapitalizations, divestitures, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Work on projects across all healthcare subsectors, including life sciences, healthcare services, healthcare tech, and medtech.
• Prepare for and attend client meetings; perform financial modeling; resolve complex accounting issues; conduct industry analysis; perform due diligence; and assist with new client development.
• Collaborate as part of small teams with close contact to senior client contacts and firm partners.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of investment banking experience.
• Superior analytical skills and a track record of excellence in academic coursework.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Strong work ethic; enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented demeanor.

Compensation

Expected base salary range: $120,000 – $140,000. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus delivered in cash and/or deferred equity.
