Job Purpose

The Actuarial Intern will support the distribution team by analyzing data, performing calculations, and assisting with projects that drive distribution strategies. The role offers hands-on experience applying actuarial principles within the insurance industry. You will collaborate with external and internal stakeholders and support the regional team on various projects, contributing by leveraging actuarial technical knowledge to explain movements in financial results to distribution and other non-technical teams. This internship provides practical experience in actuarial analysis and distribution communication in an international environment with regional exposure to markets in Asia.

What You Will Do

• Assist in data preparation and analysis of distribution activities.
• Analyze data on premium and profit.
• Work closely with Actuarial to understand profit movements.
• Participate in projects that enhance understanding of insurance products and distribution.
• Manage internal stakeholders across the region.
• Other duties as needed.

What You Bring

• Analytical, curious, and structured problem-solver; comfortable working with data.
• Excellent command of Excel and Visual Basic.
• Self-driven and independent working style.
• Effective communication skills with a team-oriented approach.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to collaborate in a fast-paced, regional environment.
• AI skills (e.g., ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot) are desirable.
