Overview

Mercer invites diverse, high-potential students to the Diversity Actuarial Career Summit. This virtual event provides exposure to traditional actuarial consulting tracks and specialty tracks within Mercer and Marsh. You will gain insights into analyst and consultant career paths, participate in group networking, and engage in team-building activities. This program offers a unique glimpse into a career in consulting.

What We Value

• Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of data analysis, project management, and presentation design
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity and a drive to develop new skills
• Ability to work in teams and adapt to tight deadlines and changing client needs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or another business-related field
• Curiosity and interest in a career in the actuarial field
• Students who have completed their freshmen or sophomore years and are graduating in 2028 or 2029
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship now or in the future
