Role Overview

The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Delivery Consultant collaborates with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives. You will drive customer success throughout the cloud journey by providing technical expertise and best practices across the project lifecycle. You will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer, gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions while leading the implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risk.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that helps customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. We provide guidance through a portfolio of offerings to help customers achieve outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption and deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices across various solutions, technologies, and industries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
2. Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
3. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
4. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
5. Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience in one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C
• Experience solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences industry
• Experience in cloud architecture and implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in data platform implementation
• Hands-on experience building data or machine learning pipelines
• Experience with one or more relevant tools (SQL, PostgreSQL, Data Lake, DynamoDB, Hadoop)
• Hands-on experience on large-scale data science/data analytics projects
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing and enterprise environments

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
