Overview
Penultimate year undergraduate or master’s student with outstanding academic achievement seeking a summer internship with the opportunity for 2028 full-time conversion. Strong quantitative and analytical skills; effective verbal and written communication; comfortable with change and able to adjust to changing demands and requirements. A strong team player and client-focused. Demonstrates energy and drive, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English is required; proficiency in an additional Asian language is highly advantageous.

Enterprise Credit is a front office function that works closely with origination functions such as Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, and Global Payments Solutions both domestically and globally to devise and deliver solutions to customers. Enterprise Credit is responsible for credit analysis, credit paper preparation, and execution of multiple-ranged financial transactions, as well as subsequent monitoring and management of portfolio quality and exposures.
What you’ll do
- Provide analytical and other support for senior team members and assist with origination (Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets, Global Payments Solutions, etc.), risk, and other support functions to support balanced portfolio growth
- Learn from and work with teams consisting of professionals from across the business, including senior team members within your group, product and support partners, and colleagues from around the globe
- Analyze customer financial strength, business strategy, market factors, and regulatory environment to assist credit memos and support portfolio management of various Financial Institutions Customers (government FIs, banks, broker-dealers, insurers, funds, etc.) and corporate clients
- Perform various statistical and financial analyses
- Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
- Develop familiarity with various legal documents – trading documents, loan agreements, etc.
- Develop understanding of internal policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance in all respects
- Develop product knowledge across a wide range of credit products including loans, derivatives, trade finance, cash management, and treasury products
Program Overview
The Summer Program is a 10-week program designed to provide Summer Analysts with a unique opportunity to gain exposure to life at Bank of America and make significant contributions to the team. The program begins with orientation and induction to the firm. Summer Analysts are given an associate-level experience, with assignments mirroring full-time responsibilities and including goal-setting and a formal review process. Access to the bank’s learning hub offers resources from banking fundamentals to communication skills. The program includes structured on-the-job training, networking and social opportunities, speaker series with senior management across all lines of business, corporate social responsibility projects, and involvement in Opportunity and Inclusion training/events. Consideration for full-time employment upon graduation.
