Responsibilities

  • Support the sale of payments products across treasury services, merchant services, and trade and working capital solutions
  • Assist senior team members in managing relationships with Chinese multinational clients and prospects expanding internationally
  • Partner with coverage, product, and implementation teams to support solution delivery and execution
  • Prepare client materials, including pitch books, proposals, and supporting analyses for meetings and strategic discussions
  • Identify potential opportunities within existing client relationships and support pipeline development activities
  • Conduct industry and client research to understand client needs, including cross-border treasury considerations and local regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate support for regional requests for proposal (RFP) responses and onboarding activities
  • Maintain clear communication across China-based headquarters teams and local market teams to align on client strategy and next steps

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in banking, finance, or a related field, including internships
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to support sales activities across payments, treasury services, and corporate banking solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare client-facing materials (e.g., pitch books, proposals, and analysis)
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize research into clear client insights
  • Organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and geographies
  • Attention to detail in deliverables and client materials

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
  • Exposure to corporate banking, transaction banking, or treasury services
  • Understanding of cross-border banking needs for Chinese corporates expanding overseas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
