What we’re looking for

Penultimate year undergraduate or master’s student with outstanding academic achievement seeking a summer internship with the opportunity for 2028 full-time conversion. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to adapt to changing demands and requirements. A strong team player with a client-focused mindset, energy, initiative, and a positive attitude to learning new skills. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional Asian language is highly advantageous.

As a Summer Analyst within Global Payments Solutions, you will work closely with GPS professionals on strategic business initiatives and projects. Placement of Summer Analysts is determined during the hiring process based on business needs and the interests/skills of the Summer Analyst. The GPS teams include:

  • Financial Institutions (FI) Treasury Sales
  • Treasury Product Solutions
  • Asia Trade & Supply Chain Solutions

What you’ll do

  • Manage projects, understand requirements, and apply time management, project planning, and execution to complete deliverables within the timeframe.
  • Prepare presentations and other materials to support proposals to clients and prospective clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research.
  • Participate in meetings/calls with clients and follow up on action points as required.
  • Create client or internal documents, materials, reports, and data inventories as needed.
  • Proactively network internally to learn about the business and report on initiatives you contribute to.
  • Integrate as a team member and communicate project milestones to the team.
  • Support the team to solve client needs and generate revenue for the bank.
  • Learn from and work with teams across the business, including senior managers, domain experts, and colleagues globally.

Program Overview

The Summer Program is a 10-week experience designed to provide Summer Analysts with exposure to Bank of America and opportunities to make meaningful contributions. The program starts with orientation and onboarding, and assignments mirror full-time responsibilities, including goal-setting and formal reviews. Participants gain access to the bank’s learning hub, structured on-the-job training, networking and social opportunities, and speaker series with senior management. The program also includes Corporate Social Responsibility projects, inclusion training, and consideration for full-time employment upon graduation.
