How you'll make an impact

In this role, you will be at the forefront of reinsurance analysis, helping shape the future of risk management in the region. You will:

• Dive deep into Chinese reinsurance treaties, conducting CAT modelling, portfolio studies, actuarial assessments, and other quantitative analyses to provide actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability by cleaning and maintaining databases related to reinsurance treaties.
• Prepare detailed analysis reports and actively participate in renewal meetings, contributing to strategic decision-making.
• Stay ahead of regulatory developments by studying Chinese rules and ensuring compliance with evolving standards.
• Collaborate with a team of experts to tackle challenges and deliver tailored solutions for clients.

About you

You're motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to make a difference in reinsurance. Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (including VBA) and PowerPoint, with familiarity in at least one programming language.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English and Mandarin to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
• A proactive attitude and a passion for learning, with a desire to grow in a supportive and innovative workplace.
