This Trainee Broker role within our Aviation team offers a strong foundation in the brokerage field. You will apply standard skills to assignments ranging from routine to moderately complex, playing a key role in supporting the placement process for our regional Aviation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Aviation regional team with the placement process, which includes creating slips, underwriting submissions, and policy documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Liaise effectively with insurers and internal stakeholders to manage renewals, endorsements, claims, and new business opportunities.
• Prepare client-facing materials, such as presentations, renewal reports, and insurance program reviews.
• Maintain accurate records and support data management within broker systems and databases.
• Contribute to regional projects and handle ad hoc assignments as requested by the Aviation team.

Candidate Profile

Experience and Education

• A minimum of one year of working experience, preferably within insurance broking.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• A Bachelor's degree qualification is preferred.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop within insurance brokerage, account management, and servicing.
• Highly organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to multitask, perform effectively under pressure, and collaborate both within a team and independently.
