Job Description

This role will support the management of the participating business. Responsibilities include providing recommendations for bonuses and other discretionary benefits, handling regular asset share reporting, determining policyholder illustrations and other regulatory disclosures, as well as supporting various initiatives and ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the review and recommendation of discretionary benefits, including dividends, bonuses, and non-guaranteed rates, and assist with system implementation.
• Support regular production processes, including asset share reporting, regulatory disclosures, and the maintenance and development of actuarial models.

Qualifications

• University Graduate in Actuarial Science or a related discipline.
• Good progression in actuarial examinations.
• At least 2 years of full-time experience in the life insurance industry.

Preferred Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in AXIS, Prophet ALS, or other actuarial software is a plus.
• Experience in Hong Kong-specific Par management.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, commitment, and responsibility as a team member.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
