Global Banking and Markets (GBM) is a leading Canadian Capital Markets and Investment Banking business with a growing platform in the US and Latin America, operating globally for over 100 years. Salary & Location
Salary Range: 120,000.00 – 130,000.00
Location: United States, New York, New York City

Responsibilities
- Execute on a broad range of transactions and prepare client presentations and financial models.
- Work closely with Associates/Associate Directors to support Directors/MDs in managing client relationships in the industry sector.
- Contribute to the team’s success by delivering on individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of business strategies.
- Ensure all activities comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
- Champion a client-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge to deliver solutions and generate revenue.
- Coordinate with various product groups and industry teams within GBM.
- Develop and maintain effective industry relationships with legal counsel, external parties, and clients.
- Evaluate and analyze the financial needs of corporate clients.
- Create marketing materials and presentations.
- Support transaction structuring and execution efforts, increasing levels of responsibility over time.
- Identify and develop business opportunities with clients.
- Perform comprehensive financial statement analysis and create and maintain models.
- Collect, consolidate, and interpret company and industry data.
- Provide financial and written analysis of companies and industries; apply product and capital markets knowledge to help clients achieve their objectives.
- Actively contribute to a high-performance and inclusive work environment.
What You'll Bring
- 0–2 years’ work experience in Investment Banking.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics, Science, or Technology.
- Strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.
- High attention to detail and a high level of energy with a keen desire to learn new concepts.
- Obtain and maintain required FINRA registration and licensing appropriate to your functions and responsibilities.
