Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the Global Securitization team in the United States, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities follow governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion a customer-focused culture to expand and deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Spearhead term ABS lead role engagements by working with issuers, deal counsels, rating agencies, third-party service providers, ABS syndicate and sales teams to execute transactions.
  • Manage the lifecycle of securitization financing transactions, including participation in organizational meetings, drafting credit applications, reviewing critical transaction documents, and coordinating with internal and external partners.
  • Coordinate activities with mid-office and back-office, including closing new and existing transactions, tracking UCC expirations, and providing updates or changes to terms or funding as required.
  • Assist in negotiating terms and documentation with borrowers and other banks, culminating in transaction closings.
  • Work with junior team members to prepare pitch books and marketing presentations in support of financing and term ABS opportunities.
  • Maintain the existing portfolio by drafting annual reviews and handling customers’ requests for waivers, amendments, and restructurings of credit facilities, coordinating reviews by risk management.
  • Attend due diligence meetings and client market meetings.
  • Review monthly servicer reports and monitor asset performance trends.
  • Understand how the bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Ensure effective and efficient operations within the area, maintaining day-to-day business controls to meet obligations related to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk, including responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook, and Guidelines for Business Conduct.
  • Be an active ally and advocate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrates solid knowledge of securitization fundamentals, with ABS experience preferred.
  • Degree in Business or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA or other industry designation is helpful.
  • Banking experience in a Structured Finance or related environment preferred.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork mindset and high level of commitment.
  • Series 63 & 79 preferred.
