Job Description
This is a 6-month full-time internship opportunity from July to December 2026. We welcome candidates expected to graduate in 2027 or 2028. Please note that the January–June 2026 internship program is closed.

For this internship (6 months), interns will be based in our Singapore office and will be assigned to the ASEAN Cloud Sales Center (CSC) function.
The CSC is the Inside Sales organization of AWS focused on new customer acquisitions across ASEAN at scale. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically, collaborating with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, partner, and marketing teams while being part of a new concept at AWS.
Role Overview
As an intern, you will experience what it is like to be a Demand Generation Rep at AWS. You will help promote growth and shape the future of an emerging technology in the region. You will be the frontline for customers in their early-stage cloud adoption, connecting key stakeholders to AWS. You will identify and engage key decision makers from target customers, leveraging lead sources from AWS marketing, sales, and external databases to help customers start their transformation with AWS. You will profile, nurture, and qualify customer leads by understanding their business issues and proposing solutions with AWS services. You will also complete a sales-related project that benefits customers and partners, while gaining exposure to cloud services.

Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate:
- Has interest and aptitude to learn about the cloud, is curious to learn, and has a “can-do” attitude with strong ownership
- Is able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Adept at problem-solving and able to generate creative and innovative solutions
- Results-driven with analytical capability to provide data-driven insights
- Able to handle competing stakeholder requests
Key responsibilities
- Acquire new customer contacts, earn trust, and engage with customers mainly through calls
- Qualify and create a sales funnel of opportunities and track in CRM (Salesforce)
- Educate customers on AWS products/services and evangelize key wins
- Collaborate with Cloud Sales Representatives (CSR) and Solution Architects (SA)
- Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
- Evangelize customer success stories
For this role, you will require
- Ability to profile customers from various internal/external sources to identify key business contacts
- Ability to listen to customers, understand needs, and ask clarifying/probing questions to qualify opportunities
- Ability to think logically, structure answers, and deal with ambiguity
- Openess and ability to learn sales automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and processes
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Are enrolled in a Bachelor's degree
- Able to commit to a 6-month full-time internship from January to June 2026
- Expected graduation from December 2026 to August 2027
- Candidates must be able to legally work in Singapore
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional fluency in Vietnamese is highly preferred
- Effective writing and speaking communication skills to engage with customers (emails, phone calls, etc.) and internal stakeholders/teams
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use Excel to provide data and present recommendations and insights
