ING offers both retail and wholesale banking services in Australia. The regional presence includes a 13% stake in Bank of Beijing, China, and a 30% stake in TMBThanachart Bank in Thailand.
Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) in Asia, encompassing all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending, and Transaction Services and other support functions.
What does the Compliance Team do in ING?
Compliance professionals based in Singapore cover Asia as well as Singapore on various compliance risk and regulatory topics such as Market Conduct, Financial Economic Crime, Conflicts of Interest, Tax Transparency, and Behavior, Ethics and Culture.
What would you be doing?
- Assist in updating and maintaining local/regional compliance framework, policies, and procedures, including but not limited to Individual Accountability and Conduct, and Related Parties Transactions.
- Assist in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) rollout for Compliance policies.
- Assist in rollout of mandatory Compliance trainings.
- Assist the Singapore Compliance team on ad hoc projects arising from ordinary course of business.
