Overview

As part of JPMorgan Global Research, you will contribute to fundamental analyses on sectors and companies, and provide actionable ideas and insights. As a Summer Analyst in the Commercial & Investment Bank Research team, you will be part of a dynamic group helping to solve a range of challenging business issues. Our Global Markets teams are active in all major financial markets and develop sophisticated financial solutions to help clients manage risk, increase returns, and solve complex financial problems. The program offers hands-on experience, relevant skills training, and valuable professional networking. Based on individual achievements, those who successfully complete the program may receive offers of full-time employment.

Job responsibilities

• Modeling financial statements and industry dynamics
• Performing detailed valuation work
• Assessing relevant news events
• Analyzing complex data sets
• Writing research notes, sector pieces, and industry and market overviews
• Advising internal and external clients, corporates, and management teams

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Expected graduation date of September 2027 – July 2028 from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program
• If pursuing a Master’s Degree, it must be completed within 2 years of receiving your Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent analytical, quantitative (algebra, statistics, probability), and interpretative skills
• Exceptional writing skills
• Genuine interest in financial markets and economic data and trends
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Confidence and initiative to take on responsibility and manage your own projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English (global company; primary business language is English)
