Job Responsibilities

Job Description Summary:

As a Visual Merchandising Intern, you will support the development of retail displays and merchandising materials, collaborate with cross-functional teams on store events and campaigns. You’ll contribute creative input for product launches and in-store visuals while assisting with documentation and reporting for merchandising projects. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about gaming, design, and retail innovation.

1. Event Visual & Creative Support

• Partner with cross-functional teams to support store/partnership events and campaigns display setup.
• Support Visual Merchandising team to develop creative assets and graphics layout for store events, campaigns, and partnerships.

2. New Product Introductions (NPIs) Creative Execution

• Contribute ideas and perspectives for NPIs, in-store displays, and window visuals to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to execute campaigns and product launches effectively.
• Manage and plan VM execution based on store needs and limitations.

3. In-store Promotional Assets Development

• Design promotional materials to align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Assist in development of retail displays and merchandising materials.
• Prepare visuals for various formats.

4. Visual Merchandising Support

• Source and procure visual merchandising tools and materials as needed.
• Review monthly VM reports to ensure displays adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistent standards.

5. Administrative Tasks

• Assist in creating documentation, guidelines, and reports for merchandising projects to ensure consistency and efficient execution.

Pre-Requisites

• Efficient in computer-aided 2D drawings and 3D visualization.
• Ability to read floorplans and construction drawings.
• Strong eye for aesthetics, details, graphic design, materials, and space.
• Proficient in: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office Excel, AutoCAD, V-Ray or 3D software of choice.
• Fresh graduates or current students pursuing further studies in design or industrial design.
• Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months for optimal learning exposure.
