Job Description
We are seeking candidates for the Digital Innovation Garage (DIG) within our Financial Services Assurance Practice. The DIG team leverages programming and software development to design and build automated, data-driven solutions that enhance financial services audits. You will join a diverse, global community focused on building trust, transparency, and insight through technology-driven approaches.
Responsibilities
You will work as part of the DIG team, contributing to the following activities:
- Digital solutions
- Support senior team members in gathering business and data requirements, performing data analysis, and testing for data strategy, data roadmaps, and data solution implementations
- Assist with technology and data solution assessments to provide point-of-view and recommendations
- Apply academic or internship experience to digital solution projects, including:
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, R, Java, or C#)
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VBA a plus)
• Automation tools such as ABBYY, UiPath - Audit innovation and data analytics
- Design and develop data cleansing routines leveraging standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking, and matching, using knowledge of data, master data, metadata, and technology management
- Deploy global tools across the Financial Services Assurance practice
- Assist audit teams and clients in identifying and extracting required data from complex IT systems
- Work with audit teams to deliver standard and high-quality data analysis
- Analyze complex data, including bespoke analyses
- Apply academic or internship experience to assignments involving:
• Working with relational databases and SQL queries
• Predictive analytics, web scraping, and Natural Language Processing using Python/R
• Using analytical and visualization tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) to access, transform, integrate, analyze, and visualize client data to identify anomalies, patterns, and trends
