About the position

This is primarily a technical support role within our systems administration group. We operate a mixed environment spread across our physical and virtual computing landscape. The role focuses on the desktop environment, providing technical support for our automated setup.

We are looking for responsible and passionate people to start or continue their careers in infrastructure. This role will provide the opportunity to work alongside and learn from our senior technologists, and to learn/improve automation skills (specifically Python). Our business is constantly changing, and we need people to help maintain our networks and our computing environment. Wintermute provides opportunities for individuals to improve their automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the desktop and automated setup within a mixed physical/virtual computing environment.
• Collaborate with senior technologists to maintain and optimize networks and computing infrastructure.
• Learn and enhance automation skills, with a focus on Python.
• Assist in maintaining a stable, scalable, and secure computing environment to support business operations.
