Program Overview

Brown Advisory is seeking motivated, team-oriented students to join us for an 8-week, on-site Summer Analyst Programme based in our London office from June 14th through August 6th, 2027. The programme is designed to provide broad exposure to the investment management industry and the opportunity to learn from colleagues across the firm.

Our immersive programme is designed to build your analytical, strategic, and communication skills through global orientation, dedicated training, and meaningful project work. Throughout the summer, you’ll gain exposure to a variety of teams, including Equity Research, Private Client, Sustainability, Fixed Income, Institutional Sales, Compliance, and Legal.

By collaborating with colleagues across the firm, you’ll develop a holistic understanding of how an investment management firm operates and delivers long-term value to clients. You’ll also have opportunities to engage with senior management, attend and present in meetings, and build relationships with colleagues and fellow Summer Analysts through a variety of networking and social events.

The programme offers a competitive salary, with additional compensation for travel expenses to and from the London office.

Job Description

Marketing:

• Help develop and deliver client-facing marketing materials, gaining exposure to how Brown Advisory communicates its investment strategies and capabilities to institutional audiences.
• Support campaigns and content distribution, from coordinating content through to delivery.
• Work on a range of marketing projects alongside colleagues across the Institutional business.
• Research competitors and the wider market to help inform positioning, messaging, and marketing strategy.

RFP:

• Contribute to new business proposals and RFPs, learning how the firm presents its investment capabilities to prospective institutional clients.
• Support responses to client due diligence requests, working with teams across the firm to gather and communicate accurate information.
• Contribute to projects that improve how the team manages and delivers content.

Applicant Requirements:

• Currently studying for a bachelor’s degree (in their penultimate year) or master’s degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and work both independently and within a team environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with eVestment is a plus.
• Ambition to study towards Investment Management Certificate.
• A strong interest in marketing and a passion for client service and financial markets.
