Internship Opportunity

This is a 6-month off-cycle internship programme, running from January to July 2027. This role focuses on gaining first-hand experience within the team and discovering what your future with us could look like through induction, on-the-job learning, skills training, and networking. You will gain exposure to one of the world’s leading global asset managers and learn how investment products are distributed across private banks, wealth managers, institutions, and intermediaries across Asia.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of marketing events, campaigns, and promotional activities that support sales and marketing efforts in Asia ex-Japan, strengthening client connectivity and building brand awareness across institutional and intermediary channels.
• Provide event support for JHI events, third-party, and distributor events, including logistics planning, packing, pre-event setup, and post-event tear down.
• Source and implement creative festive and branded merchandise for client gifting in Asia ex-Japan.
• Update marketing spreadsheets and merchandise inventories.
• Participate in and contribute to marketing team meetings.
• Support budget/expense reporting and compliance approvals.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned; support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.

Candidate Qualifications

Required Skills and Background

• University student from a tertiary institution in Singapore, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a similar discipline.
• Interest in financial services strategic marketing trends and competitive landscape.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• A team player, capable of collaborating with colleagues across different time zones and regions, as well as working independently.
• Proactive, resourceful, and a self-starter.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail (both visual and numerical).
• Ability to problem-solve and a strong desire to learn, understand, and grow.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Events experience.
• Campaign management experience.
• LinkedIn promotional experience.
• Experience with AI tools.
